Meet Dr. Alexus Squires & Ludington’s Foot & Ankle Specialist

DrAlexusSquires-WestMichiganFootAnkle-Ludington

Dr. Alexus Squires is a Mason County native and Michigan State University alumna. She grew up in Custer on her parents’ small family farm and her first job was at the local podiatry office of Dr. Alan Mast where her interest in the medical field began. After graduating from Des Moines University School of Podiatric Medicine she then completed a three year foot and ankle surgical residency training in Milwaukee, WI. To bring things full circle that office that she started her first job in she has now purchased after completing residency to start her own practice, West Michigan Foot and Ankle. After completing a total of eleven years of schooling and specializing in the foot and ankle, Dr. Squires is ecstatic to be pursuing the opportunity to return to her hometown to provide foot and ankle care to the community.

Dr. Squires enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Weston Squires, who is a local chiropractor at Squires Family Care Chiropractic. They have been together since high school and have recently welcomed their first baby into the world. She also enjoys traveling, horseback riding, and lounging with their newfoundland dog, Brevis.
